Bow Thruster Tunnel Leakage repair
By Installing a special blank in the bow thruster tunnel, approved welding operations were possible inside the Bow thruster room in order to repair a pin hole leakage due to erosive cavitation.
These problems can be prevented by regularly checking and inspecting the BT Tunnel for the state of the cathodic protection by means of underwater inspections.
