Once Rope Guard was removed the team commenced by placing and vulcanizing the new Viton seals by means of bonding procedure.A pressure test was performed on the stern seal, no leaks were reported and the technicians commenced by welding the rope guard back into position.
The vessel sailed well within the planned repair timings.
All seals and spares were delivered from stock, repairs can be done by FN Diving either afloat or underwater on all types of stern tube seals.
